Not that there has ever been any confusion, but I am not the Andrew Reimer who was an executive producer of the move Crash, in spite of the fact that I did live many years in London Ontario, the home town of Crash director Paul Haggis. While in London I attended Lorne Avenue Public School and Oakridge Secondary School, except for the two years during which I lived in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, where I attended the American International School.
I later attended the University of Western Ontario, and graduated from Trinity Western University with a degree in History, only to find out that:
- the Department of Foreign Affairs was about to begin a five year hiring freeze
- the History corporations were downsizing.
- I didn’t have enough money to even apply to law school, much less pay for it
To make a long story short, I have no regrets about my chosen field of studies but ended up in the IT industry.
